What we’re up to this November
๐ 10th November
๐ฃ Purple Hearts Gathering
๐ Glasgow, Scotland
We are delighted to be hosting an event in Glasgow on Friday 10th November, 2-5pm, at Metropolitan Bar and Restaurant in Merchant Square.
We will be bringing together our amazing supporters, patients and families who are at the heart of our community and fuel our passion to drive change for pancreatic cancer.

At the event there will be optional breakout sessions.
- Our inspiring supporter Isobel McMurchie will share how she is helping raise awareness of pancreatic cancer through the arts and local communities, with film clips of her play โIslets of Silenceโ and open discussion with the writer, director and actors.
- Taster mindfulness sessions will be provided by our lovely supporter Elaine Bryce.
- For those who donโt want to attend any of the breakout sessions, โmusic and mingleโ will be taking place in the main room, with opportunities for guests to chat with each other alongside background piano music and supporter Marty Bryson performing some of his songs at various points in the afternoon.

During November, and particularly on World Pancreatic Cancer Day, landmarks around the UK will light up purple to spotlight a disease that deserves more recognition.
๐ฃ Glasgow Central station – Turn it Purple takeover
๐ Glasgow, Scotland
Our amazing supporter Lesley Irving has arranged to Turn It Purple at Scotlandโs busiest train station, with various activities to help raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer.

We will be hosting an awareness stand at Glasgow Royal Infirmary hosted by our Health Education Co-Ordinator Christy Mowat.

๐ฃ Winchester Cathedral Evensong service
๐ Winchester, Hampshire
We would be delighted if you could join us for a very special service at Winchester Cathedral on the 21st November at 5:30pm.
If you are unable to attend the service in person you can watch the service live using a web link that will be made available here nearer the time.
