Twenty challenges for 2020!

2020 is not just a new year as it marks the start of a whole new decade!  So why not take on a challenge that can kickstart your motivation for the year ahead?

The Twenty for 2020 Challenge is anyone who wants to take on a bit of a challenge during 2020. This could be raising £20k or taking part in 20 events throughout the year.

There are no restrictions on what events you take part in or whether you want to do it on your own or as part of a team. You can also make it as easy or strenuous as you like.

For example, you could take on a running challenge, an awareness stand, bake sale, a sponsored walk – the list is endless!

To give you some ideas: You could take part in some of PCA’s fundraising campaigns, monitor a collection tin in your local shoptake on a 5k run/walk, hold a bake sale, hold an awareness stand or strike up a conversation with someone about pancreatic cancer.

It can be focused on holding your own events or taking part in PCA fundraising campaigns and events. Remember, the 20 for 2020 Challenge is your challenge, your way!

Get others involved!

Take it on by yourself or keep yourself motivated and get involved as a team! It always helps keep you motivated when you have a team; whether it’s family, friends, work colleagues, social clubs or schools. You can get as many people involved as you like!

What do I get?

If you sign up to take part, we will give you the following to help you with your 2020 goals!:

  • A welcome letter
  • A3 calendar to mark off when your events are
  • Fundraising Tool Kit – packed full of ideas
  • Leaflets
  • Banner
  • Balloons
  • Cheer sticks
  • Sponsorship & Gift Aid forms

And if you need anything else, please do feel free to get in touch. That way, we can make your pack as bespoke to you as possible!

Izzy says…

“This is a really great idea to get involved and do fundraising your own way with whatever you like! I sometimes hold awareness stands for PCA and monitor collection tins in some local shops. I also enjoy running and walking so I’ll probably take part in PCA’s Striding for Survival and run the Great South Run again this year to give some variation in my challenges. I’ll then plan some other challenges to take part in throughout the year.”
