Join us on our next “Virtual Coffee and Chat”!

PCA recently hosted their very first "Virtual Coffee and Chat", and with a number of our amazing supporters taking part, it was a huge success. We are now looking to host another chat very soon and would love for you to join us!

One of the highlights about working for a charity is getting to meet and speak with incredibly passionate and determined people on a regular basis! Obviously with lockdown and social distancing measures in place this has been hard and soduring Volunteers Week in the beginning of June, we decided to host a “Virtual Coffee and Chat” session with some of our fantastic Community Volunteers and members of the PanCanClan from Scotland.

Run by Murray Easton and Lucy de’Lemos from the fundraising team and with some talks from Ali Stunt, our CEO and Founder, it was a fantastic opportunity to interact with and meet some of our volunteers and supporters face to face. It also gave them a chance to meet others with similar experiences and to share their stories if they wished.

We used the session to discuss the current challenges that we face as charity, how we are going to be adapting moving out of the crisis as well as sharing ideas for fundraising activitiesWe discussed the different ways that supporters can get involved with the charity and how they can make a real difference to both the work we do and for pancreatic cancer patients; now and in the future.

Meeting and speaking with supporters always inspires and fuels our motivation to do more and we’d be delighted for others to join the next “Coffee and Chat” session on Wednesday 5th August 2020.

As an organisation, we are currently addressing the urgent need surrounding the disease and with our recent merger with Pancreatic Cancer Scotland, we are determined to make the 2020’s the decade of change for pancreatic cancer. We need to take action now – together we are stronger.

If you’d like to join us for the next session then please do get in touch with Murray at Murray@panact.org or call us on 0303 040 1770 ext2, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for your support.
