Our Pyjamas For PanCan debut
On the 16th April 2018, we debuted our Pyjamas For PanCan fundraising campaign and wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part!
Across the UK, we were joined by hundreds of people who wore their pyjamas to school or work to help say goodnight to pancreatic cancer; the cancer that has been kept in the dark for too long.
Pancreatic cancer is the UK’s 5th biggest cancer killer, the survival rate being just 5%. These are the lowest survival rates of any cancer in the UK and we here at PCA, along with our fantastic community of supporters, are committed to working towards earlier diagnosis of the disease so that surgery, currently the only cure, is made available to the sufferer.
We’ve really enjoyed hearing about how your fundraising days went and have loved seeing all of your pictures on social media! You can still send them to us, just email fundraising@panact.org or hashtag #PJsforPanCan on social media.
Below are just some of the many photos you’ve shared with us.
