Danielle Corcoran Tanner peacefully passes away

We are extremely sad to hear that Danielle Corcoran Tanner, PCA regional representative, fundraiser and friend, passed away on Saturday morning after a 5 year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Lu from Pancreatic Cancer Action shares a few words:

Danielle was one of the most inspirational and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

She was a fantastic regional rep and did so much to fundraise and raise awareness of pancreatic cancer in her local community. She did this with the support of her family, her lovely partner Andrew and her wonderful daughter Izzy, who recently cut her hair to raise money.

Danielle was always willing to support Pancreatic Cancer Action and, in particular, she spent a lot of time sharing her story with the media to raise awareness. She took part in TV interviews, including speaking with BBC South Today and ITV Meridian. She also featured in her local newspapers, spoke with her local radio and took part in our charity videos. She really did go above and beyond.

Danielle will not be forgotten. I will always admire her strength and courage and she will always inspire me to do everything I can to fight this disease. I know the whole PCA team will miss her.

Our thoughts are with all her family and friends at this sad time X
