How to make the most of your fundraising in November!
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and here at Pancreatic Cancer Action we are on a mission to Turn It Purple as much as possible!
We are on an awareness mission but this doesn’t mean that you have to stop your fundraising!
Wear it Purple
Show your support by wearing purple for a day, week or even the whole month! You could get people to sponsor you or even do a purple day at your workplace or school.
Everyone could make a donation to wear purple for a day to help raise funds and also awareness of pancreatic cancer.
Light it Purple
If you want to light it purple this November then why not make it into an event and ask for donations? You could light your home or even a hall purple and hold a party or cake sale to help raise funds!
Have a purple theme, invite your friends and family and suggest a donation or sell tickets for your event.
Make it Purple
Do you have a hobby or talent that you can put to good use? Whether it is knitting, crocheting, baking, sewing, writing or anything else then why not create goods that you can sell?
We have had fundraisers make many things including jewellery, crotchet pansies, purple cakes, paper cranes and ornaments. You can be as creative as you like!
Display it Purple
Why not encourage your local businesses to display it purple in their shop windows and ask if they would hold a collection tin in their shop for the month?
Whether it is a shop, cafe, restaurant, pharmacy or hairdressers this is a great and low maintenance way of fundraising!
Share it Purple
If you want to Share it Purple this month then why not turn your fundraising page purple with purple image and share it among your friends on social media?
