Who are we?
Collection of information
PCA is the sole owner of the information submitted by you to us in any way. We may use this information gathered in the course of our organisation’s stated role, to further our charitable aims. However, we will not ever sell, share, or rent personally identifiable information that you have submitted to this site to third parties.
Orders and donations – We ask people using our merchandise order forms to provide contact information. This is used only to fulfil orders – as stated on the online order forms – and enables us to contact you if we have difficulty processing an order. Any information and credit card details you send to us using our secure donation page will be encrypted, so it cannot be intercepted over the Internet by anyone else. We do not hold or keep any credit card details on our website or anywhere else.
How do we protect personal information?
All of our online forms are protected by encryption. We also use a secure server when you make a donation or payment via our website. We take appropriate measures to ensure that the personal information disclosed to us is kept secure, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.
Any personal information will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
You have a choice about whether you want to receive information about our progress and fundraising activities. We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted.
