Become a Media Volunteer
Sharing your experience with the press means we can raise awareness of the disease with lots of people who may not have heard of pancreatic cancer before and could help save lives.
Our PCA media volunteers are a group of people who have been affected by pancreatic cancer and have volunteered to raise awareness of the disease by speaking to the media if an opportunity arises.

What does it involve?
If a media opportunity arises in your local area – for example a local paper or TV/radio station is interested in covering a story on pancreatic cancer – we will get in touch to see if you would like to share your story.
Alternatively, if you agree we can approach the local press with your story
We can either contact you via e-mail, phone or you can become part of our PCA Story Sharers Facebook group and meet others from all over the UK who also share their story.
We will never give out your contact details to anyone without your express consent.
Do I always have to say yes?
You are never under any obligation to say yes! If we contact you with an opportunity and you are unavailable or not having a good day then that is absolutely fine. You can also be asked to be removed from our contact list at any time.
How do I become a PCA Media Volunteer?
