Be kept in the loop about our latest news on pancreatic cancer, the charity and our supporters.
Our corporate partners are invaluable to us and our work - we are so grateful for all the support they give now and in the future helping us improve the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
Our corporate partners work with us in various capacities and for various lengths of time. From choosing us as their Charity of the Year with staff undertaking challenges, holding fundraising events and volunteering to raise awareness, through to companies who use their products to raise awareness of our campaigns.
We are always looking for corporate partners to join us, please email fundraising@panact.org for more information.
Better placed started to support Pancreatic Cancer Action in 2016 when Kate Siegel’s mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Kate’s company Better Placed were extremely supportive and threw themselves into fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Action.
To date, they have raised over £11,500!
A team of 34 employees took part in a mighty challenge to raise funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer Action. The challenge, which they called ‘The Italian Job’, was a 24 hour static bike-a-thon covering the distance from the UK to Rome (2000km) in all three of the company’s offices: London, Manchester and Leeds raising over £6,000. Read more about this challenge here!
Yet again, Better Placed pulled out all the stops to support Pancreatic Cancer Action with a “turn it purple day” in November. They baked, wore purple and even held two yoga sessions thanks to Urban Fitness. They raised over £1,900 for us via their JustGiving page.
Kate has continued to provide us with her support by completing numerous fundraising activities with close friends and colleagues from Better Placed who have offices in London, Leeds and Manchester. Kate has taken part in the Santa 5k run in London, various cake baking activities and truffle hunting day trips as well as encouraging BPR to get involved and raise awareness where they can. They ran a competition across all three offices and managed to raise over £1000.
Sadly another member of the company lost a close member of their family to this awful disease which has only reinforced how much ongoing support the charity needs in order to raise money and awareness.
We can’t thank them enough for their continued support.

Our partnership came about through an approach by Pancreatic Cancer Action to Pen as we share the same colours in our logo and branding. A member of their Charity Committee had also lost someone to the disease so knew about pancreatic cancer.
To date they have raised over £5,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Action, we can’t thank them enough for their continued commitment.
Pen planned a packed year with lots of fundraising events. They created an online Brokers Survey (where they donated £1 for every survey completed), a Tea and Talk event with raffle prizes in March at their London Headquarters. They also galvanised a team of employees to take on the JP Morgan 5K in July. Go Team Pen!
Clugston Construction had a great year raising funds and awareness and continue to promote the charity whenever they get chance.
Each year they ask staff members to vote for their chosen charity for the upcoming year. The charity was nominated by Danny Watts who lost his father to pancreatic cancer and who’s mother, Maggie Watts started the Hope Is Contagious Campaign which supports Pancreatic Cancer Action and another PC Charity.
To raise funds staff a Clugston Construction walked, golfed, held a plant sale, had dress down Fridays, baked lots of lovely cakes and held raffles, all in aid of Pancreatic Cancer Action! Read all about their Golf Day here.
They set themselves a target of £5,000 but thanks to the generosity of our staff members and suppliers, they reached an amazing total of £6,006!
We are so grateful for all their support!
