Starting conveniently just outside Edinburgh, you run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse.

The events

Scottish half marathon

The Scottish Half Marathon is a road race over a measured distance of 13.1 miles. The route is fast and flat and starts starts at Meadowmill Sports Centre. It then takes in the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing at Musselburgh Racecourse.

Sunday 19th September 2021. Start time 9am. 

  • Registration fee: £20
  • Minimum fundraising target: £285

Scottish 10k

The route starts and finishes just outside Edinburgh at Musselburgh Racecourse.  You will follow the final section of the seriously flat and rapid Scottish Half Marathon route, running along the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse. Come and be a part of it!
