Temporary shortage of Creon (Pancreatin) 25k

Mylan, the company that produce Creon for the UK, have warned of a temporary shortage of Creon 25k over the coming weeks.

I take Creon, what should I do?

If you are currently taking Creon 25k then speak to your doctor about managing the dose of your medication during the shortage, which is expected to last until the end of May.

This current shortage is not expected to have an impact on other forms of Creon such as 10k or Creon micro. It is perfectly safe to use these other doses of Creon to make up your prescribed dose. This means taking more tablets, at a smaller dose. If you are worried about this, please speak to your doctor.

If you have any questions about Creon and this temporary shortage, please see attached letter from Mylan. You can also contact the companies medical information team on 01707853000 or via email; info.uk@mylan.co.uk please note that Mylan cannot offer you medical advice.
