Wacky Racers is back for its third year, it promises to be even bigger and better than before. Team entries for Wacky Racers 2018 will be closing on 1st March, details of how to enter below. This year’s race will run from 6th – 7th July 2018.
Holly and partner Gerald got involved with Pancreatic Cancer Action after losing Holly’s beloved
Grandfather David to pancreatic cancer in October 2012. Holly and her team developed the first Wacky Racers in 2016 as a fun way of raising funds and awareness of pancreatic cancer. Last year’s the event raised a fantastic £3,831.97 for Pancreatic Cancer Action.
What is the Wacky Racers 2018?
Wacky Racers is a treasure hunt style challenge that takes place over three days in the stunning scenery of the North Yorkshire countryside. There are ten teams and they each get around in a wacky car covered in pancreatic cancer awareness material.
The teams have absolutely no idea where they will be going or where they will be staying overnight. At each mystery destination they must take selfies to prove they made it there.
Penalties can be incurred if all the pictures are not taken, if they are taken at the wrong location or if their car breaks down.
