Petfringe Chorus raise incredible amount for PCA

On Saturday 15th June the Petfringe Chorus ‘Live in the Marquee event’ was held in Wisborough Green that raised an incredible £1,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Action.

The Petfringe Chorus is an amateur choir, established to celebrate the joy of singing and not just to concentrate on performance. The choir only perform twice a year at Christmas and in the summer with events garnering a reputation for being extremely fun.

This year’s concert was held in a local resident’s garden and included a mixture of traditional choral music, show tunes and some more modern popular classics plus very talented young soloists. Despite the pouring rain, the British spirit withheld, and, under the cover of a large marquee, all had a fun time.

The Petfringe Chorus was led by Sara Reynolds and accompanied by Jeremy Weaver.

Ali Stunt, Founder and CEO of Pancreatic Cancer Action says, “It was a spectacular day to attend and we are astounded by the generous donations!”

“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped to organise the event, the Petfringe Chorus and the generosity of everyone on the day.”
