PCA attend Primary Care and Public Health 2015

Vicky McLaren and Beverley Hodgson from Pancreatic Cancer Action attended Primary Care and Public Health 2015 at The NEC on 21st May 2015.

Primary Care and Public Health 2015 provided learning and networking opportunities for health care professionals working in primary and community care, public, prison and global health. The day was a massive success with excellent speakers, hands-on workshops and an exciting exhibition. Everyone left with plenty of examples of best practice and ideas to take back to the work place.

Vicky, the Operations Manager for PCA said “I spoke to lots of interested GPs, nurses, dieticians and other healthcare professionals. All took our posters and info-graphics and many ordered copies of our publications, demand for the diet and nutrition booklet was high.”

It was a hugely successful day for Pancreatic Cancer Action, being part of such an event is so important for us to spread the message of early diagnosis within the medical community.
