Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland!

We are delighted to announce our new branding as Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland.

Following our announcement in early 2020 that Pancreatic Cancer Scotland (PCS) was merging with our friends at Pancreatic Cancer Action (PCA), we have brought our organisations together as one and are proud to now embrace the word ACTION in our new name for our activities in Scotland.

PCAS

Continuing to embrace the colour purple associated with pancreatic cancer, we love that our iconic thistle features in our new Scottish branding, representing patients and families in Scotland who are at the heart of all we do.

Funds raised in Scotland will continue to benefit the people of Scotland through our initiatives, projects and activities.

As we enter a new chapter as Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland, we have developed a new section of the PCA website that will be dedicated to our work and activities in Scotland.

Our new website address will be www.panact.scot but don’t worry, if you type in the old pancanscot.org out of habit, you will still arrive on our new website section automatically! This will also work if you have bookmarked any of our old pages in your web browser; they will redirect to a relevant section on the PCA website which provides essential information and sources of support.

Please take a look at our new website here: www.panact.scot

Social Media

We will continue to share news of our developments, projects and activities through our Scottish social media channels on Facebook @PancreaticCancerActionScotland and twitter @pancanscot.

We love sharing news of your inspiring fundraising and awareness activities too – so please remember to tag us in what you’re doing.

Fundraising

When raising funds you will now need to select Pancreatic Cancer Action on fundraising platforms, such as Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving

To make a donation or set up a monthly donation please visit https://pancreaticcanceraction.org/take-action/donate/

We assure you funds raised in Scotland shall continue to benefit the people of Scotland, through our initiatives, projects and activities.

Thank You!

Thank you for your continued support through our merger transition period. We are confident that our new Scottish branding will assure you that we continue to be here for the people of Scotland – as a strong voice driving the decade of change for pancreatic cancer.

2020 marks our 10th anniversary and we are so grateful for your inspiring passion and support over the last decade. Although we have not been able to mark this milestone year in the way we originally intended, we are proud to continue building on our strong foundations and incredible legacy of support, to make a real difference for patients and families in Scotland.

We look forward to sharing our future plans with you soon – lots of incredible things are on the way – but first, lets focus on a bright purple November’s Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

We understand that with certain restrictions in place, this year’s awareness month will be different for everyone, but never before has your support been so vital!

With your help, we hope to reach more people than ever before with symptom awareness and use our #PurpleHeart image to spark conversations about pancreatic cancer, as well as raise much needed funds to help us continue our important work.

If you haven’t done so already, please order your Turn It Purple Pack online and we look forward to seeing your innovative inspiring ways of raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team if you need any additional materials or assistance.

TOGETHER we can make a difference.
