Over the Hills and Far Away: Day 1

The first day of Spot and Rupert’s 10 day walk across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales was a great success! Over 30 people gathered at Bolton Abbey, including the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire , Emma Bridgewater, Edward Fox and Pancreatic Cancer Action patron Joanna David.

Rupert has been inspired by the journey his late wife Candida Lycett-Green took in 2000 with her friend, riding 200 miles on horse back through Yorkshire and Northumberland and was featured in her book, Over The Hills And Far Away.
