The story behind the spinner…
Sisters Audrey and Kendra, from Singapore, have supported Pancreatic Cancer Action ever since Audrey was inspired to raise funds because she fell in love her teachers PCA wristband, which he wears in memory of his mum. You can read the full story here.
Since then the girls have raised funds by sharing videos and spreading the word – they have raised over £10,000!!
A few months ago the girls came up with the inspired idea of PCA fidget spinners! With their fathers help they designed and produced these special edition PCA spinners and have donated 100 for us to sell on our shop!
The girls have come to the UK twice since they started their fundraising. The first time PCA marketing executive, Lu, went to London. Audrey said: “I want to make the world a better place. To spread joy and kindness and happiness.”
We also had the pleasure of having the girls in our office in Hampshire a couple of months ago where the girls shared their fundraising ideas and had great fun trying on our purple wigs!
