“They Couldn’t Do Anything When it Was Diagnosed”
Jane Brewer shares with us the story of her father, Phillip, and his experiences with pancreatic cancer.
Before his diagnosis, Phillip was starting to lose weight without trying and suffered from tummy pain and mid-back pain. His daughter, Jane, shares his story.
“My lovely dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was only given two weeks, which sadly was the case. This was after waiting for six weeks for the results of his initial scan. We had to rush him to hospital before the six weeks were up.
At first, the hospital thought it was his gall bladder, and unfortunately, they couldn’t do anything when it was diagnosed.
He was so brave, and we managed to get him home for the last two weeks.”
