Over The Hills And Far Away

Rupert now On the 1st May, Rupert Lycett Green and his Jack Russell Terrier, Spot will embark on a 10 day, 140 mile walk through Yorkshire.

Rupert has been inspired by the journey his late wife Candida took in 2000 with her friend, riding 200 miles on horse back through Yorkshire and Northumberland and was featured in her book, Over The Hills And Far Away.

The daughter of the acclaimed poet, writer and broadcaster John Betjeman, Candida sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2014, after a brave nine month battle.

Rupert has so far raised an astonishing amount for Pancreatic Cancer Action and a few of the PCA team will be joining him and Spot on the first leg of their journey along with a large group of fellow supporters!
