Getting Muddy for Team PCA
Thank you so much to Jamie Pickett, Steven Pickett, James Hubert, Jamie Stalley and Catherine Kennedy who took part in Tough Mudder London West on Sunday 1st of May. The team ran in memory of Steven and Jamie’s grandad who sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer. Together they raised over £1,500!!
Jamie says: “After discovering my amazing granddad had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer close to christmas, me and my whole family were devastated. Unfortunately, after spending a memorable last christmas and few weeks together he passed away an hour after new years.
He was a fascinating man, and an inspiration to all of his children and grandchildren. There is no doubt he would be proud of all of us! He will be missed beyond belief!” https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jamie-pickett-2
Steve says: “He was an inspirational man, achieving so much in his 80 years; from travelling the world and living abroad for many years to governing a local school and giving his time up to help and support communities in Africa with his church.
He was such a caring man who touched all walks of life and although he is not with us anymore, his legacy will live on.
