“She sadly passed away 19 days later”
Carol Boulding shares the experience her mother, June, faced.
Before her diagnosis, June had experienced symptoms such as jaundice, mid back pain, smelly stools that don’t flush easily, and fatigue/extreme tiredness. Daughter, Carol, tells us more:
“Mum had been found to have Atrial Fibrillation, so her fatigue was put down to that. She had a longstanding history of loose bowels, so thought nothing of that symptom.
It was only when she developed the jaundice that she let me call her GP. She came to visit and did an abdominal exam and felt a mass.
An urgent scan and blood tests were arranged and she received her diagnosis. She sadly passed away 19 days later.”
