B.fresh Turn it Purple with Pancreatic Cancer Action!

B.fresh, British juice and smoothie company have partnered up with us for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month this November to help raise awareness of the UK’s fifth biggest cancer killer!

B.fresh will be taking part in ‘Turn it Purple’ throughout the month on their website and social media, as well as donating 10% of all online sales to the charity who focus on saving lives through early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

The fresh juice company will be promoting a healthy lifestyle throughout November as obesity can increase people’s chances of getting cancers like pancreatic cancer.

Obesity is a modifiable risk factor which means you can adjust your own risk through behaviours and lifestyle choices. This is why living a healthy lifestyle is so important and can reduce your risk of cancer. Keeping a healthy weight can be challenging, however, there is a lot of support and advice is available to help you on the NHS website

Other risk factors also include smoking, age, chronic pancreatitis and diabetes.

Our Turn it PurpleTM campaign encourages supporters to unite and show their support to those affected by pancreatic cancer. Supporters can wear it purple, bake it purple, move it purple or light it purple to help raise awareness and fundraise to help improve the shocking 7% survival rate of the disease.
