20 books for 2020
Daniel who is just 7 years old is taking on an incredible reading challenge this month to raise money for his 20 for 2020 challenge!
Daniel will be spreading joy every night by reading a book to his Nana over Facetime finishing on the June 10th to spread some positivity in this time.
This is a special challenge for Daniel as his great gran was sadly taken too soon by pancreatic cancer on 10th June 1992. It will be 28 years since she passed when Daniel finishes his challenge.
Daniel’s mum Nikki says, “It’s now 2020, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and the UK is locked down, we can’t visit our friends and family – we miss them, but we are staying safe at home. Myself, my husband Ben, our 7 year old son Daniel and our cheeky 2 year old Poppy are safe at home together.
Many families will not be able to visit their loved ones who are going through the battle that is Pancreatic cancer.”
Daniel’s original target was £100 but he has now raised over £600 and his challenge hasn’t ended yet!
