Finances and palliative care
If you are diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer, it will have an impact on your ability to carry out all of the tasks you were able to do before. This section explains the options for care and how care is financed.
As the disease progresses you may find that you need help increasing assistance with shopping, cooking, cleaning and caring for yourself. Towards the end of life, you may need assistance with all of your activities.
You may have family, friends, neighbours or carers to help you manage. Depending on the level of need you have and your finances, depends on how this will be funded.
