Georgie Brazier

Fundraising Assistant

Your role and responsibilities

As part of the fundraising team, my role is to maintain and develop relationships with existing supporters and inspire new supporters of PCA. Within my role, I also ensure all data is entered accurately, send out information packs and merchandise to support our fundraisers with their individual fundraising, work collaboratively with the rest of the fundraising and marketing team to ensure events are up to date on both website and social media and finally, ensure all supporters are thanked in a positive and effective way so together we can raise awareness and make a difference.

Describe yourself in 5 words:

Friendly, Motivated, Passionate, Fun and Caring

Why did you pick to work at PCA?

Following a career within the housing sector, I returned to higher education and studied a Charity Development degree. I completed my degree in May 2020… just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Due to this I ended up becoming a 999 Call Taker, however, I came across PCA and when researching the amazing work that Ali and the team had done in just 10 short years, it was something I wished to become a part of.

What are your hobbies and interests?

During the summer you will often find me and my family at local cricket grounds as we are massive cricket fans and supporters of the Sussex sharks! When we are not at cricket, we will often be found out walking in the countryside or at home baking.
