Who we are
Pancreatic Cancer Action was founded out of a desperate need to give more attention to a disease that has been neglected for far too long. Hearing daily of more people diagnosed late and dying from pancreatic cancer is a powerful reminder of why our work is so vital.
Quite simply, we know that pancreatic cancer can be detected early, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported, we will do all we can do to make sure this happens more and more.
We are a small team of both full time and part time staff based at our offices in Hampshire who are supported by a fantastic board of Trustees, Medical Advisors, Scientific Advisory Committee and Patrons and Ambassadors. The amazing generosity and support we receive every day from members of the public and our corporate partners enables us to carry out our vital work – now and in the future.
