Social Media Campaigns
With over 25,000 likes on our Facebook page, 13,500 followers on Twitter and almost 2,000 followers on Instagram, social media is a fantastic way to raise awareness of the issues surrounding pancreatic cancer everyday.
These platforms are also a great way to support our individual advertising campaigns and coincide with all our marketing initiatives. Here is a selection of some of our most successful social media campaigns.
The Christmas Tribute Tree
The PCA Christmas Tribute Tree is a meaningful, lasting, and personal way to remember, honour and celebrate those who have lost their lives to pancreatic cancer. It can also represent a symbol of hope to those who are currently fighting the disease.
The tree is an online and interactive site where supporters can dedicate a bauble to a loved one which will be placed on the tree. As well as the name of your loved one you can also leave your name and a personal message.

The Purple P
During Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month 2013 Pancreatic Cancer Action held a social media campaign to raise the profile of pancreatic cancer. The campaign invited supporters to take a photo of themselves holding a purple ‘P’ and positing it to their social media pages.
Hugh Grant, who is patron of charity Pancreatic Cancer Action, did his bit to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer by taking a photo holding a purple P.

Snow Globe Yourself
