Role and responsibilities

Lauren TranthamAs a fundraising assistant, I help maintain the relationships of our supporters with the charity. I act as an essential communicator by supplying information from all fundraising platforms to help the team. Most importantly, I recognise and thank all of our supporters and encourage them to keep raising awareness.

Why did you pick to work at PCA?

After working in a care home for two years, I discovered I wanted to be in a job where I felt like I was making a difference and helping people. When I came across PCA, I felt inspired by the work they do and how far they had come as a charity. I wanted to be part of their great team in achieving their goals.

What are your hobbies and interests ?

In my free time I love taking my dog on walks, and going out with my family and friends. I am an eager traveller, so am looking forward to exploring more countries now the world has started to open up again.
