Laura Oakley

As the Fundraising Executive, my job is to develop, implement and manage an annual program of events. A key part of my role is to drive forward innovative new fundraising initiatives, seek out engagement opportunities and maintain relationships with our supporters.

Why did you pick to work at PCA?

Working for a charity I feel passionately about is incredibly important to me. I saw this role advertised, and after losing a family member to pancreatic cancer in 2017, I knew it was the one for me. I am so grateful to be part of a dynamic team who are taking action and fighting for change.

What are your hobbies and interests ?

I love all things fitness and wellness, from running and yoga to lifting weights. I am a mum to one small human and two fur babies, our Bengal Coco and Miniature Schnauzer Winnie. Spending time with my family and our friends on the weekend is my absolute happy place.
