Suzanne and Annette cycled London to Paris raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action

They didi it!!!

Suzanne and Annette cycled from London to Paris … and at least 50% of it was in atrocious weather conditions. Broken arms, 6 punctures, a zillion mountains, and a few dead animals did not stop them!!!

Annette said, “In good Kiwi terminology, when we had done it and arrived in Paris under the Eiffel tower “what an emotion”. We still have 2 more weeks to reach our sponsorship target (we are at 77%). Pancreatic Cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK and yet it receives only 1% of the overall cancer budget. We are already their [Pancreatic Cancer Action's] 5th biggest donator, so that shows you what tiny amounts of money they have to try and work miracles and improve lives.”

Annette went on: “You can also get there via our blog – we will be doing a more fulsome write up with photos of the ride itself in preparation for the day it will be turned into a movie (yes … I am probably still dehydrated and delirious) http://threegirlsinfivedays.blogspot.com/ so … this is really (yes really) a last plea to those of you who are able to please throw some more money at us now for our well deserving charity. Cheers!”

All of us at Pancreatic Cancer Action are very grateful for such a tremendous effort by both Annette and Suzanne – well done girls!!
