Pancreatic Cancer Action

Retailers in Haslemere, Surrey supported their local resident and founder of Pancreatic Cancer Action, Ali Stunt during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Week in November by turning their window displays purple for the week. From the fish shop to the flower shop, the town really got into the spirit not only with the purple theme but many retailers also displayed posters and balloons and gave out information leaflets about the disease to the public.

“Haslemere is a great place to live and has a strong sense of community, shown here by the support given to me and the cause during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Week” said Ali. I have really been touched by the efforts many retailers have made to help raise awareness of thisĀ terribleĀ disease.”

Haslemere fashion retailer Woodie and Morris also very generously donated a percentage of their takings during the week.
