Day 1:
Depart the UK
Day 2:
Arrive Beijing for our full trip briefing
Day 3:
Transfer to Huangyaguan where we commence our Trek on the Great Wall
Day 4:
Huangyaguan to Mountain Village including Heavens Ladder a steep 200 step climb
Day 5:
Mountain Village to Jinshanling Follow the contour of the hills along steep farmers tracks
Day 6:
Guebikou to Jinshanling – Bus out to Guebikou then follow the wall back to Jinshanling passing remnants dating back to the Qing Dynasty
Day 7:
Jinshanling to Mutianyu – stunning walk towards Simatai before transferring to our accommodation for the night
Day 8:
Mutianyu to Beijing Our final walk along one of the most beautiful parts of the Great Wall after which we head back to Beijing for our celebration meal
Day 9:
Beijing – Time to explore the city steeped in history and culture
