The National Lottery Dublin Marathon, which is run through the historic Georgian streets of Dublin, Ireland’s largest and capital city. Dublin is home to a quarter of the country’s almost 4 million people. Though founded by the Vikings, it is now a vibrant, dynamic city where half of the population are under 25. Dublin is only an hour by air from most U.K. and European cities, and more than half of the expected entry of 10,000 will be made up of overseas runners, many of whom will be returning to sample Irish Hospitality once more.
Want a place?
There are two ways to gain a place in the Dublin Marathon 2012:
1. Gain a charity place
Pancreatic Cancer Action has a limited number of guaranteed places for the Dublin Marathon which is to take place on the 29th October 2012. If you would like one of these places, you’ll need to be able to fundraise a minimum of £375 (excluding Gift Aid) and a non-refundable deposit of £30 to secure your place. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Download our Dublin Marathon 2012 registration form to register for a guaranteed charity place.
2. Apply for a place in the organiser’s entry system (own place)
These places are allocated on a first come first served basis and will close once they have reached full capacity. Apply for a place and once you have signed up please let us know so you can join the Pancreatic Cancer Action team.
